Distance Reiki may be provided while you are at home or in another quiet and suitable location. You do not necessarily need to remain connected through video or telephone during the full session unless this is specifically stated.

3. Nature of Reiki

Reiki is offered as a complementary wellbeing practice.

It is not medical treatment, psychological treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or emergency care.

No particular physical, emotional, psychological, energetic, spiritual, or personal outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Before booking, you are responsible for reading the separate Reiki & Health Disclaimer, which forms part of the agreement between you and us.

By completing a booking, you confirm that you understand the nature and limitations of the service.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.

A session for a person under the age of 18 may only be accepted where:

• a parent or legal guardian has provided prior written consent
• the booking has been discussed with and expressly accepted by us
• any additional conditions requested by us have been fulfilled

We reserve the right to decline a booking where we reasonably believe that the service is unsuitable, that appropriate consent has not been provided, or that the person requires a different form of professional support.

5. Booking a session

A booking is not confirmed until:

• the booking process has been completed
• all required customer information has been provided
• payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed
• a booking confirmation has been issued

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and correct.

This includes:

• telephone number, where requested

You must contact us promptly if any information in the booking confirmation is incorrect.

6. Prices and payment

Distance Reiki may be booked by customers in different countries.

We are not responsible for a missed appointment caused by:

• an incorrectly selected time zone
• daylight-saving differences
• an incorrect calendar setting
• misunderstanding the confirmed appointment time

8. Preparing for a session

You are responsible for choosing a safe, quiet, and suitable place in which to receive the session.

You should not participate while:

• driving
• operating machinery
• using equipment that requires your full attention
• caring alone for someone who requires immediate supervision
• performing any activity where relaxation or reduced attention could create a safety risk

You are responsible for your own physical surroundings before, during, and after the session.

9. Telephone, video, and internet connection

Some sessions may include communication by telephone, video call, email, or another agreed digital platform.

You are responsible for having:

• a suitable device
• a working internet or telephone connection
• access to the agreed communication platform
• a private environment where you can speak comfortably

If technical problems occur on your side, the session may be shortened, completed without a live call, or treated in accordance with our separate Cancellation, Refund & Right of Withdrawal Policy.

If a significant technical problem occurs on our side, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement.

10. Customer conduct

All communication must remain respectful and appropriate.

We reserve the right to end or refuse a session where a customer:

• behaves abusively, threateningly, sexually inappropriately, or unlawfully
• deliberately provides false or misleading information
• records a session without permission
• attempts to use the service for purposes other than those described
• creates a safety concern
• repeatedly fails to respect agreed boundaries

Where a session is ended because of serious or inappropriate customer conduct, a refund may be refused to the extent permitted by law.

11. Cancellation, rescheduling, refunds, and withdrawal rights

Rules relating to:

• rescheduling
• late arrival
• missed appointments
• refunds
• technical difficulties
• cancellation by us
• statutory withdrawal rights

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have been given the opportunity to read that policy before purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

12. Cancellation or refusal by us

We may cancel, postpone, decline, or discontinue a session where reasonably necessary, including because of:

• illness
• emergency
• technical failure
• circumstances outside our reasonable control
• concerns regarding suitability or safety
• inappropriate customer conduct
• incorrect or incomplete booking information
• suspected fraud or misuse of the service

Where we cancel a paid session for reasons unrelated to customer conduct, we will normally offer either:

• a replacement appointment, or
• a refund for the affected session

However, Reiki is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, legal advice, or another regulated confidential professional service. Our communications should not be assumed to carry the same legal confidentiality protections as those professional relationships.

15. Recording of sessions

You may not record, photograph, film, livestream, reproduce, publish, or distribute any part of a session or related conversation without prior written permission.

We will not record a live session without informing you and obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

16. Intellectual property

• improved health
• personal transformation
• spiritual development
• any other specific result

Dissatisfaction with a subjective experience or the absence of a desired result does not by itself mean that the service was not provided as agreed.

21. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from:

• participation in a Reiki session

• customer-side technical problems

• decisions made by you before, during, or after a session

• an agency relationship
• a medical relationship
• a psychotherapeutic relationship
