Cancellation, Refund & Right of Withdrawal

This Cancellation, Refund & Right of Withdrawal Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled, and describes the statutory right of withdrawal that may apply to customers in the European Union and European Economic Area. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation or rescheduling by you
You may cancel or reschedule a booked session free of charge if you notify us at least [insert notice period, e.g. 24 hours] before the scheduled start time.

2. Late cancellation or missed sessions
Where a session is cancelled with less notice than stated above, or where you do not attend without prior notice, we may charge the full price of the session or decline to offer a refund, unless the circumstances were clearly outside your control.
We will always consider genuine emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
3. Cancellation or rescheduling by us
If we need to cancel or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, technical failure, or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer either:
- a new appointment at a time that suits you, or
- a full refund for the affected session
4. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued to the original payment method within [insert period, e.g. 14 days].
Refunds are not normally given simply because a session did not produce a particular subjective experience or outcome, in line with section 20 ("No guaranteed results") of our Terms & Conditions.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA customers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day the purchase is made.

6. Sessions booked within the withdrawal period
Because a Reiki session is a service with a specific date and time, sessions are often booked to take place before the 14-day withdrawal period has ended.
By actively selecting a session date and completing your booking, you expressly request that we begin providing the service before the withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that:
- if the session takes place and is fully completed before the withdrawal period ends, your right of withdrawal is lost once the session has been fully performed, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law
- if you withdraw before the session has taken place, you are entitled to a full refund
- if you withdraw after a session has partly taken place (where applicable), we may charge an amount proportionate to what has already been provided up to the point you informed us of your withdrawal
7. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw in accordance with this section before the session takes place, we will reimburse the payment received from you without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw, using the same means of payment used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
8. Exceptions
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to customers who are not consumers (for example, those purchasing in the course of a business or trade), and does not override the cancellation terms in section 1–2 above for sessions where the withdrawal period has already expired or been lost in accordance with section 6.
9. Your other rights
Nothing in this policy limits any other mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of the country in which you live.
