Reiki

A space for rest, presence, and recovery

You don't need to be anywhere in particular, or believe in anything in particular. Just give yourself a pause — I'll hold the rest of the space.

Reiki is a Japanese complementary wellbeing practice. I work with my hands and my attention, with the intention of channelling Reiki energy to you as the recipient. I'm a certified Reiki Holy Fire® III practitioner, a modern branch within the Usui Reiki tradition.

A moment to return to yourself

You don't need to know exactly what you need, or be able to put everything you're feeling into words.

Maybe you feel tired, lonely, or stuck in life. Maybe your body is carrying tension or pain. Maybe you're in the middle of a change — or maybe you're simply longing for a moment where nothing is required of you.

Reiki isn't somewhere you go to become someone else. It's a moment of stillness where you get to come closer to what's already there in you.

Reiki may suit you if you

  • feel stressed, tired, or overstimulated
  • feel like something has stalled in your life or your body
  • live with pain or physical discomfort and long for rest
  • feel lonely or far from yourself
  • are facing a change
  • want a quiet moment without having to talk, perform, or understand
  • simply long for recovery and presence

You don't need to believe in anything in particular. You just need to give yourself the time to receive.

After the Reiki

After the session, you'll receive a personal email from me. If I pick up on anything during the Reiki that I feel could be useful to you, I'll share it there. What I share isn't a definitive answer about you — you take in what feels relevant, and leave the rest. Reiki can be a complement to other care and treatment, but it doesn't replace medical or psychological help.

Cecilia

About

Welcome. My name is Cecilia.

I offer Reiki because I know first-hand how much it can mean to be given a space where you don't have to be anything or perform in any way.

I came to Reiki during a period when I needed to slow down myself. What I valued most was the simplicity of it – that someone simply held the space, without expectations or big words.

That's what I want to pass on.

Just a quiet place to set down what you're carrying, for a little while.

In my own life, I keep returning to the simple things: meditation, Reiki, nature, the body, and the home around me. I care about how we feel inside ourselves, but also about how the places we live in can support us, calm us, and help us find our way back to what feels true.

I'm also intuitive and clairvoyant. During a Reiki session I sometimes pick up on images, words, or impressions. If something feels relevant and could be useful to you, I share it gently afterward.

I'm a certified Reiki Holy Fire® III practitioner, a modern branch within the Usui Reiki tradition. Every session is grounded in this practice.

Warmly, Cecilia

Frequently asked questions

Good to know before you book

Can Reiki replace medical treatment?

No. Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice and should not replace examination, diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up care from a qualified healthcare professional.

What do I need to do to prepare?

Find a quiet place where you can lie down or sit undisturbed. Put your phone away, dim the lights, and make the space comfortable. You don't need to do anything else.

Do I need to be on video during the session?

No. You don't need to be on video during the Reiki itself. You'll get all the practical information beforehand.

What if I don't feel anything?

There's no right way to experience Reiki. Some feel warmth, calm, heaviness, or subtle sensations in the body. Others feel little or nothing in particular.

How often can I book a session?

There's no fixed recommendation. Some book a single session, while others like to come back. You choose based on what feels right for you.

How long does the session last?

You set aside a full hour for yourself, and get to stay lying down and let your body land throughout the session.

A reminder from Mikao Usui

Just for today – do not anger.

Do not worry.

Be filled with gratitude.

Devote yourself to your work.

Be kind to people.
